Ask AI About Your Floor Plan
You can now ask questions about your 3D model in plain language — and the answer marks what it's talking about, right in the 3D view.
What shipped#
- Ask in plain words. Open Ask about your model at the top of the workspace (the AI button on a phone) and type things like "what's the biggest room?" or "how many windows are there?"
- Answers you can see. Rooms and open areas are painted in a pulsing colour; walls, doors, windows, stairs and columns light up. Every marked element gets its own colour.
- Click a colour to fly there. Each colour word in the answer is a button — hover it to pick that room out from the rest, click it and the view swings over the element and looks down at it.
- Ask about what you clicked. Pick a wall, room, window or piece of furniture in the 3D view and it's added to your question as context, so "how big is this?" just works.
- Find a kind of room. "Show me all the bedrooms" marks every bedroom — the room types are read from the labels printed on your own sketch, so it works on plans in any language.
- Answers in your language. A question in Hebrew or Arabic is answered in the same language, reading right to left, with the colour buttons in that language too.
Why it matters#
A 3D model holds a lot you'd otherwise have to measure by hand: which room is biggest, how long a wall runs, where the entrance door sits, how many windows face the street. Asking is faster than clicking around — and because the answer paints and zooms to what it means, you never have to guess which room it was talking about. See how sketches become 3D models.
How to use it#
- Open a project whose 3D model is ready (see getting started).
- Click Ask about your model and type your question.
- Click a colour in the answer to fly the view to it.
